Using These Runs
1,000,000 records were read and selected, 500,000 from each of the databases; but only 999,996 records are in the report. The outpatient database has three invalid principal diagnoses and one invalid secondary diagnosis.
Three of the top 10 diagnoses for the inpatient database were in the top 10 diagnoses for the outpatient database: "4019 HYPERTENSION NOS"; "4280 CHF NOS"; and "25000 DMII WO CMP NT ST UNCNTR".
The incidence of diagnoses or procedures is a powerful feature of ACMI.
The inpatient database average number of diagnoses is 6.6 while the outpatient average number is 3.0.
