Development of Atwell Computer Medical Innovations, Inc. (ACMI) Software
We developed the ACMI software to allow YOU to quickly and flexibly access and analyze YOUR data. The design and development of the software grew from a requirement for quick answers from large databases. The lack of available software to search and analyze large databases prompted Atwell Computer Medical Innovations, Inc. to develop software to meet this need.
Company Background
ACMI software developers have over 40 years combined experience as health care statisticians and computer programmers, managing and analyzing large worldwide United States Army medical databases.
Experience
Working with worldwide Army medical data, we were required to quickly answer inquiries from Congress, the Department of Defense, the military departments, states, hospitals, researchers and individuals. The lack of available software to answer these inquiries identified a need to develop methods of analyzing large databases. This ongoing effort to improve response time and increase flexibility and capability to quickly search and analyze large volumes of data evolved over several years. After leaving Civil Service, we established Atwell Computer Medical Innovations, INC. to develop new ways to better handle very large databases. A breakthrough in computing, storage, encoding, processing and decoding concepts lead to the development of the ACMI software for fast retrieval and analysis of healthcare data.
