As ENHANCEMENT software, ACMI enhances the user’s ability to access and analyze every data field or virtually any combination of fields in the databases in seconds.

The software does not touch existing data systems but instead reads ASCII (text) files generated from the databases.

The ACMI software creates meaningful and easy-to-read output, incorporating Medicare codes and titles.

The software will:

  • Process multiple years of databases
  • Process multiple kinds of databases (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, etc.)
  • Accept extraneous file input for searching, matching and selection

Drilldown (the command):

  • Allows an unlimited number of drill downs to get more detailed information or combinations of information
  • Lets users print data values to the screen for any data fields for any individual records
  • Gives users a method of finding possible problem areas
